AdaptNI’s Andy Reay Shortlisted for Prestigious Minority Recognition Awards NI
Northern Ireland – AdaptNI is proud to announce that Andy Reay, a dedicated member of the team, has been shortlisted for the Minority Recognition Awards NI in the Inspiring Champion category. This recognition highlights Andy’s outstanding contributions to supporting people who are Deaf, have hearing loss, and/or tinnitus, in Northern Ireland.
The Minority Recognition Awards NI celebrates individuals who have made significant strides in championing diversity and inclusion across the region. Being shortlisted in the Inspiring Champion category underscores Andy's unwavering commitment to advocating for accessibility and empowering individuals facing barriers to employment through his skills which cover Sign Languages around the world.
Through his work at AdaptNI, Andy has ensured access for those who use other Sign Languages in Northern Ireland and passionately raised awareness to foster inclusive workplaces. His efforts ensure that people from minority groups have the opportunities and resources needed to thrive professionally. Andy’s passion for creating positive change has inspired both colleagues and those he has worked alongside, making him a true champion for equality.
