Celebrating 2024: A Year of Achievements at AdaptNI
As we approach the festive season, we want to reflect on what has been an exceptional year for AdaptNI, The only provider in Northern Ireland. Thanks to the dedication of our team, our Advisory Group and the trust of the communities we serve, 2024 has been filled with remarkable achievements, growth, and opportunities for people who are Deaf, have hearing loss, and/or tinnitus across Northern Ireland.
Accredited Training Success
One of the highlights of this year was delivering three accredited training programmes, equivalent to GCSE level, through our SPF-funded pre-employment and training project. These programmes provided participants with valuable qualifications, boosting their confidence and opening doors to new career opportunities.
Fostering Self-Employment
In addition, we successfully completed a self-employment project, funded by the Ulster Society for the Promotion of the Education of the Deaf and the Blind, guiding participants on their journey to becoming their own bosses. It has been inspiring to see individuals turn their passions into businesses, and we look forward to supporting more entrepreneurial journeys in the future.
Workable Achievements
This year, we matched as many progressions on the Workable programme as we did new starts, a testament to our ongoing commitment to sustainable employment support.
Supporting Paid Employment
We are especially proud to have supported over 20 individuals into paid employment this year. Watching our clients thrive in their roles has been a privilege, and we are excited to see what they achieve in the years to come.

Looking Ahead
As we celebrate this year's successes, we are also looking forward to what 2025 will bring. With new projects on the horizon, we are excited to continue breaking down barriers and creating opportunities for the communities we serve.
